How do you Timberdoodle?
We have been using various Timberdoodle components for a few years now. We haven't tried a full curricula but wish to.
Tell us about a typical school day at your house.
We start about 8:00 and school various hours. We do a lot outside the home, too. We travel and go to group outings a lot. We cover math, science, history, geography, language arts, music, writing, typing, foreign language, and brain games.
If we peeked inside your home on a random Wednesday afternoon, what would we see?
Depends. If it's nice we wouldn't be here. But if it was not nice we would be doing read alouds, cooking, drawing, or knitting.
If you could take your family anywhere you wanted for vacation where would you go?
We would love to go on a road trip across the country.
What books have you read over and over?
The Birch Bark House series.
What dietary challenges does your family face?
Nut free, dairy free.
What tips do you have for surviving a hard day?
Take deep breaths and cook.
What’s something your child has done that thrilled your soul?
Comes up and says "I love you" for no reason.

Cake and family outing.

We went to Disney.

Awesome. We are a book family.

Take it day by day and be able to change.
