Find It Series - Review Round-up

Several members of our Blog Team recently had the opportunity to review the Find It series of books from Highlights. This fun series is included in our Tiny Tots curriculum kit.

Find out what the little ones on our Blog Team think of the books:

One Luckey Wife

Daisy says, "My daughter had a blast with these books. She was easily able to find each item in the books. Her favorite was the bedtime book; she said because it’s purple. Since they are not to big we’ll be able to take them on the go in case we go somewhere that our daughter would get bored." Read more...

The Art Kit

Dana says, "Introduce your baby to math concepts, vocabulary, and pre-reading skills with the adorable Find It series by Highlights. These colorful and playful board books not only enhance learning but encourage interactivity between babies and their parents." Read more...

The Learning Momma

Ki says, "Each book has colorful pages with large pictures of coordinating theme objects or animals on one page, and a vibrant setting on the next page where your kiddo can “find” the object. Think “I Spy” for toddlers. What’s especially nice for those tactile toddlers is that the objects you are finding are outlined, so if you’re touching them you will feel them." Read more...

Just a Secular Homeschooler

Ronda says, "Each of the books has three items on the left page to find and an image on the right where toddlers can search for the images. This makes the books a good resource for math concepts, pre-reading, vocabulary-building, and fun." Read more...

Cummins Life

Kathryn says, "This series helps introduce your young one to math concepts, vocabulary and even pre-reading skills.  G really likes the colors and various pictures throughout this series.  I love that these books encourage interactivity between parents and kids with questions.  They are also sturdy!" Cosmic Montessori School

Jeni says, "At sixteen months, Will, is just getting the hang of pointing out objects as I name them — so this series has quickly become his favorite set of books to read together. He especially loves animal themed everything (kid is obsessed with chickens). The farm book is right up our alley. Our other favorite in the series is the bedtime book as it depicts all the snuggly things you need to do at the close of day." Read more...

Joyful Wife Life

Amanda says, "These books are wonderful quality and hold up very well to my 2yr old. I love that the pictures are bright and simple enough for a toddler to search out and find. Reading these books has helped to grow her vocabulary. She really enjoys the animal and bedtime books." Read more...

Pinwheel in the Wind
