Our reading challenge for December invites you to take the time to create special holiday memories with good books. See how many of the following challenges you can complete during the month of December.
A few suggested titles are on the printable PDF, but we’re sure you’ll be able to come up with many of your own as well. You might want to choose a longer chapter book and/or an advent devotional book to read with the whole family every day throughout the month, then fill in with shorter picture books for other categories. Also, keep in mind that many categories can overlap so feel free to mix and match our suggestions.
We’d love to see your pictures representing the challenges--whether it’s the covers of the books you read, books with props, or pictures of the kids reading! Feel free to post on social media and use hashtag #timberdoodlereads so we’ll be sure to see it.
