Cat Crimes Review Round-up

This past year several members of our Blog Team had the opportunity to play Cat Crimes with their families. Find out what they thought in their posts below!

The Art Kit

Dana says, "Cat Crimes promotes critical reasoning, logical deduction skills, and teamwork (you can play the game alone or work together to solve the mystery). Miss 5 was a bit too young for the game but that didn’t stop her from joining in with Miss 8 and me and trying to help us solve the mysteries. Miss 8 played several games on her own after we worked together on a few. She had a blast with the game and I would definitely recommend this game to others." Read more...

Homeschool Happenings

Jennifer says, "Overall, Cat Crimes Game was a hit! My 5th grade daughter enjoyed playing the game. She liked that it was a single player game and that she didn't have to compete with anyone. She definitely preferred the easier levels. My older kiddos enjoyed playing the game as well. My 7th grade daughter enjoyed playing the game as well. She was definitely up for the advanced and expert levels. I would highly recommend Cat Crimes Game to those looking for a quiet game that requires thinking, logic, and stretching your mind." The Learning Momma

Ki says, "Cat Crimes is a fun “who done it” logic game, with increasingly more difficult challenge cards, so kids (and adults!) can up the complexities and difficult level as desired the more rounds that they play... it’s also such a fun-filled, brain-working game that J and I enjoy popping in for a round when able as well. I definitely see Cat Crimes as a game the whole family can enjoy, and it will be in heavy rotation around here. So if you need a fun game that helps work on their logic skills (but is so fun they have no idea it’s helping their brains expand!), Cat Crimes gets four big thumbs up from Miss H and Mr. B!" My Penned Heart

Tina says, "My daughter is 8 years old and loves this game so far. She is working her way through the cards at lightning speed. I don’t think she realizes that she is learning but with each new card she is building her thinking skills. She said, “Mom, this is so fun! I could sit here and play Cat Crimes all day but then I would run out of cards. Better take a break”. It was wonderful to see her so engaged." Read more...

Mom's Plans

Melissa says, "What can I say?  We loved this game!  I often found my daughter had pulled it out and was quietly working on it.  While this game is fun, I also love that it’s educational and that she’s developing logic skills while having fun.

We liked that it had multiple levels, so you can begin with the easiest level, and as you become more skilled, you can move up to the next level.  My daughter completed most of the beginner cards herself, and we worked on the intermediate cards together." Read more...
