Physics 101
Physics is the investigation of our universe and the foundation of many other studies, including chemistry, engineering, and even medicine. The study of physics develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills while explaining the hows and whys we all encounter. Without an understanding of physics, there would be no fuel or bridges, and medical achievements would be absent.

From a stellar introduction to physics to the simple discussion of light, sound, electricity, Laws of Motion, and even Quantum Mechanics, the Physics 101 DVD course is easy to understand. Though it is designed for ages 15 years and up, because Physics 101 is physics without the math, the information is accessible to the entire family.

Over 10 hours of Instruction
There are over 10 hours of instruction on 4 DVDs. A bonus Guidebook is available as a pdf file on one of the discs with additional study material and quizzes. If your student is eager to know more, there is also a downloadable Accreditation Booklet. That Booklet will take him through 130 hours of studies along with 32 engaging labs for him to work through.

Publisher Description
Physics Made Simple!
Physics can be a complicated subject, but that doesn't mean that it must be boring and impossible to understand. Veteran filmmaker Wes Olson will take you on a journey into the incredible universe created by God, from Newton's laws to the complex concepts behind quantum mechanics. Once you have finished this course, you will feel at ease discussing relativity, explaining the correlation between energy, mass and the speed of light, and perhaps even Schrodinger's cat.

    Great Christian Worldview

I bought this DVD to accompany the PAC curriculum for my 15 year old son. We do the PAC Mon-Wed and this DVD on Thur. It's a great change up after the bookwork the first part of the week. When they are turned on the whole family ends up watching them. These are interesting, engaging and teach a solid Christian Worldview which is a nice addition to our science giving my son a well rounded education. I highly recommend these and will be using them with my younger sons.

    Physics 101 is perfect!

We are homeschooling a 5th grader who has a particular interest in Physics. In fact, this school year is the third year in a row our daughter has specifically asked me to teach her Physics as part of our homeschool curriculum. We have already used a free on-line Physics program, as well as the Apologia Chemistry/Physics Elementary level book--both of which were excellent, but what to use for this year since she still wanted to be studying Physics sure had me baffled. After reading on a homeschool blog about a High school Physics text their family had used, I ordered that Physics text myself but was sorely disappointed once I received it as I realized how much evolution was written throughout the textbook. I would have anticipated this perhaps in a Biology textbook, but did not expect to have this problem in the area of Physics. So far, I have been selecting parts out of this Physics text to use with our daughter, but when I received a recent e-mail from Timberdoodle advertising the Physics 101 DVD, I knew I needed to take a closer look. Reading that it was developed from a Creationist point of view convinced me to order it immediately, and I have been eagerly anticipating it's delivery. We received it today, and unlike my previous attempt at purchasing a Physics program, this one has NOT disappointed! I immediately started watching the program, and cannot WAIT to switch my daughter over to this program tomorrow in homeschool. There is an amazing amount of material contained in these four DVDs, and the presentation is so interesting that I want to watch the entire program myself just for fun! I understand that the program is geared for age 15 and up, but if you have a younger child such as my 11 year old who loves Physics, do not hesitate to order this program for them. And you will not need to worry about any younger children being in the same room while this program is playing--it is very family-friendly!
