Lab Kit for Exploring Creation with Astronomy

Have you ever used the Apologia curriculum and wished you had a prebuilt lab kit with the supplies you needed instead of going out and getting the items yourself? Have you thought about using Apologia Science but felt intimidated by searching several stores to gather all of the lab supplies?

You'll be happy to know that you can now make your life easier and save a ton of time by purchasing the lab supply kit that correlates to Exploring Creation with Astronomy experiments.

The lab kit contains over 20 of the items you may not, or likely would not, have around the house. You will still need to gather a few things from around the house, like a few standard office supplies, some kitchen items, balls, etc.

You may also have to buy food items if you don't have them in your pantry already. However, for the things you would have to pick up at the craft store, hobby store, and/or superstore, this handy kit has virtually all of them in just the quantities you'll need to complete your experiments.

This kit also does not include a handful of optional or cost-prohibitive items that you won't find in your home. If you choose to complete those experiments or parts of experiments, you'll need to pick those up.

Note: This kit is designed to be used by a parent or teacher with a child. It is not intended for use by children 12 and under unsupervised. Plus, you'll have so much fun with things like "Launch a Rocket" and "Make Some Lava," why wouldn't you want to join in?

    A little disappointed...

I was so excited to have the option to buy lab kits for our curriculum. Most items seem to be decent quality (ex: the tape measurer is very sturdy and easy to use), but we ran into issues with our very first activity. The first 'experiment' is to build a solar system with balloons. The kit had everything we needed except for tape. The problem is that over half of the balloons had holes in them! They lacked size and color variety, but that part could be forgiven. My kids were very frustrated to have their planets deflating on them. The balloons were poor quality. This makes me a little nervous about our future experiments with this kit. I appreciate the convenience factor, but it's only convenient if the materials work. I'm going to continue using lab kits for the apologia elementary curriculum, but next time will purchase from a different distributor.

    Crystal,

Oh no!! That should never have happened! We are contacting our supplier to see how we can rectify this. In the future, if this sort of problem arises with one of our products, please don't hesitate to contact us right away so that we can make it right for you. Again we apologize for the frustration this has caused.
