Farmland Math: Town and Farm Edition is a robust curriculum for introducing little ones to the wonders of math and thinking skills! Farmland Math is 36 weeks of straightforward problems to build your child’s ability to think mathematically. 


The math concepts spiral gradually so that children do not forget as they go and include grouping by color, counting, and patterns, plus rudimentary addition and subtraction skills. 


Farmland Math contains a durable, wipe-clean foldable mat that shows a farm scene on one side and a town scene on the other. It also includes 72 each of barnyard buddies and vehicle counters in six shapes, six colors, and two sizes, and the colorful manual.

    Such a great tool!

    My kids (3 and 4) LOVE this! It's well thought out and helps them learn important concepts in a fun way. They learn math concepts, colors, types of animals/vehicles, and position words (in front of, behind, etc.).

    Best Preschool Math Tool

    My son is just not ready for workbooks and needs a much more hands on approach to math. The motor and animal toys for this cirriculum piece are perfect for him. The colors are rich and there is a lot of texture and variety in them as well.

    The workbook that *does* come with Farmland Math is mostly for the parents and gives helpful activities to do with your little scholar with ever increasing levels of difficulty to keep the student's mind sharp and focused.

    My son LOVES Farmland Math and I've never come across a better way to start teaching mathematical concepts to preschoolers.

    Definitely be careful if you have younger toddlers or babies as the pieces can be a choking hazard and there are A LOT of them so it's easy for pieces to go missing. But, on the other hand, because there are so many of them it doesn't ruin the whole thing if you lose a few pieces which is nice as small toys going missing is inevitable with young children.

    Definitely keep this in your repertoire Timberdoodle.

    Worth it

    I wasn’t going to get this because it’s pricy but I’m glad I did. It’s worth it. This is a genius way of starting math! There’s animals and vehicles to play with and move around on a map that goes along with the little stories in the book. This is the best kind of learning!

    Great set

    This is a great math set. I love the structured learning through stories. The counters are fun for my daughter to play with, on or off the mat. Just a great quality set overall. I do wish there were more lessons and that it would tell you at the top, before the story, which pieces you need exactly for each activity. While, yes, it is easy to read through the story and pick out the animals or vehicles that correspond, it would just make it faster to set up. I also like to pair this program with the Preschool Math at Home book. The combination of the two have worked really well for us.
