Great organization

We liked that every week gradually led up to writing the story on the last day. Every week has same structure, so she knew what was to be expected.

It’s okay

It focuses on a topic each week. It builds up to the last day of each topic where most of the writing is done. It isn’t much on the other days and my daughter doesn’t really enjoy it.

So glad we Found Daily 6-Trait

I was told about this from another homeschooler and decided my kiddos needed more practice writing. I like the way it is set up with each week having a topic and each day building on learning how to add that topic to your writing with the last day of the week having a prompt and letting them do their own paragraph with that new skill.

Does the job

My kids like these writing books but I am more on the fence since the most writing comes at the end on day 5 with lesser amounts throughout the week.

Nice Book

We have always enjoyed Daily 6 books and used them in previous grades. They have a nice way of organizing writing topics and providing a nice balance of writing for young budding writers.
