I knew it belonged in a Timberdoodle curriculum from the first time I saw Stages: Blocks. Vibrantly colored, solid wood blocks provide children with problem-solving situations, develop their spatial sense, and increase their motor planning abilities.
But as teaching parents, we wanted more. What if we could combine the independent learning, free play, and imagination of block play with an introduction to pattern interpretation? Stages: Blocks does that and more.
Using the 40 small, custom-designed blocks and 120 picture cards, your child will progress from structures that use only one block to those that utilize all 40 blocks. The more elaborate designs will require focus, thought, careful stacking, and color, shape, and perspective skills.
