My Year of Writing

I picked this up toward the end of the school year to give my 9 year old some more writing practice. He needed more guidance than a blank journal and this gives him a place to express his quirky sense of humor. It's not overwhelming to him, because the areas to write are short and he's been willingly writing every day!

This a great little practice book that allows my daughter to write a few sentences each day. It challenges her to be creative and come up with fun story ideas.

I bought this alongside other books in the series. I think I'll hold onto it for a couple years before starting it with my son. He's in late grade school now, but we're still working on writing.

There's a whole series of these. Writing, art, me etc. They are great! A nice supplement and little project to work through over a year. Fun and worth it for many ages.
