Made to scale for your younger child, My First Pencils lessen the strain on his hand and provide better control of the pencil. My First Pencils are large and pre-sharpened for writing and drawing. 

My First Pencil's 2B graphite core is wider than standard pencils, so they should not need sharpening as often, but a sharpener is included in the package. 

The larger diameter of the pencil is more comfortable for your child to use, and the stocky erasers on the ends dispatch mistakes quickly. More comfort and better control with My First Pencils means improved fluency and legibility for your child.
