Great layout

This has been a great learning tool for my 7th grader. He doesn't have a solid understanding of many of the concepts covered so having a checklist to make sure he has found all the answers is really helpful. He uses color-coding to identify each of the items he is looking for on a page which makes checking his work much easier. (example: spelling corrections are done in purple, punctuation in red, etc.)

Great suppliment

I used this book as extra lessons with our grammar workbooks. The number of items to be corrected are in the upper right corner. That helped my two children keep track of errors and learn to spot more challenging grammar mistakes. It could become frustrating at times to find all the things that needed correcting. We slowed down and spread the book over two years of school.

Very Similar to level 1, this program is age appropriate for the junior high level with more advance grammar concepts. Reading and editing each exercise, the book allows students to find individual grammar mistakes from the previous lesson. (How'd you like my dangling modifier?). I wouldn't recommend it as a primary grammar curriculum, but I think is very well teaching students, especially budding writers at the junior high level, the skills needed for proofreading. (What word do you use with a gerund?). 4 stars

My 11 daughter is almost done with this workbook. She loved the first one, but this one is definitely more challenging. She can now find a misplaced modifier, a run-on sentence, and a subject/verb agreement. So far, so good!

It is working well.
