Note: Workbooks and Teacher Guides contain worksheets and instruction sheets found in the teacher text. Teacher Guides also include unit reviews, unit tests, cumulative reviews, answer keys, and teaching strategies.

About Easy Grammar:

Most children dread grammar study because it is too complex. But Easy Grammar is just that, easy.

What sets Easy Grammar apart is the memorization of prepositions. This is the first step because once the student can identify and eliminate the prepositional phrases in a sentence, then determining the subject, verb, and other parts of speech is much easier.

If you lack an adequate grammar background and find even the preceding sentence intimidating, relax. The hardest part will be memorizing the prepositions. After that, everything falls into place.

Easy Grammar employs a virtually "hands-on" approach by deleting and marking certain words or phrases. The vocabulary has been kept simple, and, in most cases, the sentences are relatively short.

This logical, straightforward, no-nonsense grammar program is easy because each lesson focuses on just one topic. It is clear for the students to understand and provides a logical sequence of language arts skills. Additional strategies and tips that have helped the author's students are also provided. Lots of review helps to ensure comprehensive learning with excellent results.

    The Best We Have Found

This is the best language arts program that we have found! My kids were "behind" and couldn't seem to grasp grammar at all, but once we started easy grammar we realized that they were not behind, but overwhelmed. The pages have plenty of white space with no distracting pictures or unnecessary adornments, and the blank spaces are large enough even for those who struggle with fine motor skills. My kids both like it because it's fast (even though we do two pages a day) and introductions to new concepts happen slowly. We started easy grammar at grade three with only the most basic understanding of types of sentence and word types (nouns, verbs, etc...) and both my 9 & 10 year old were able to proceed with very minimal assistance.

    Great product

I love that we were able to buy a workbook so that we can keep record of his work! The easy grammar is a wonderful item and I will be using this in the future as it has helped my son! He seems to be enjoying this product also and sometimes will ask if we can do another page! Which I think is wonderful as he was so frustrated in the public school cuz he was behind compared to kids his age. Great product and will buy the 4th grade level when we are ready. thanks

GREAT, but not for the Kinesthetic Learner

I personally loved this curriculum. Just like the title, it's easy if your child is a read/write or visual learner. It seemed like just the right amount of repetition and the concepts where easy to get. I learned several parts of speech I had long forgotten in the few weeks we had been doing it.

However, I have come to figure out my daughter is a Kinesthetic Learner and this is just not working for her. The workbook is in all black and white - there is nothing to capture her attention and draw her into learning the concept.

So, this will be a great curriculum for some and not so great for others.

    Just what the name says!

This is a great grammar program that takes the pain out of the process. It is systematic, but not too laborious. We played some games to learn the propositions, and after that it has been smooth sailing.
