Can a child ever be too young for family devotions? If you are reading books to your baby, and I really hope you are, your baby is ready for Say and Pray Devotions. Focused on specifics: God's World, God's Gifts, and God's Love, this very sturdy padded board book with thick stock paper throughout serves many purposes.


The left side of each spread gives a topic and a short sentence that expands on it, and the right side offers a short Scripture and a simple prayer of thanks. 


The colorful and engaging illustrations are labeled so your little one can practice identifying objects on each page, helping you increase your baby's vocabulary. 


For example, on the topic "Our Helpers," Say and Pray Devotions' simple comment is, "God gives us helpers like brave firefighters.". The verse is Hebrews 13:16 "Do good to others.". The prayer is "Thank You God for helpers! Amen." The labeled objects are firefighter, helmet, siren, and fire truck.

Its alright

Not a super creative book but i got it to show the kids they can be grateful for every tiny thing and pray to thank God for all of it. It has been helpful to show them they dont need a big reason to talk to Heavenly Father. So in that respect I do like this book.

Good starter devotional book for younger kids.

Good devotional, just wish it was longer

I liked this devotional because the concepts were simple and easy to talk through with my 2 year old. They also include some vocabulary. However, I wish there were more pages. The book was shorter than I would have liked.

We really enjoyed these as an early introduction to prayer and devotion for our little one. We would use one page a night and keep repeating the book till she began to get familiar with the topics.
