I am very pleased with this math curriculum and am on my second year of using it. When looking for a math for my twins 1st grade year last year I decided this was the one to try. I liked that it was colorful and looked like it could make learning math more fun and it did not disappoint. Some days my twins will get their math book out and start working through a lesson on their own! The teachers manual gives advice, tips and extra resources along with the answer key for each lesson that can be used as much or as little as needed.

    Horizons 2

This is a solid math program. I'd say a little advanced for grade level. Some pages have a lot of problems required but there is definitely enough practice. The art is like 90s style clip art. Definitely a little "retro" but we like it!

So excited to start with a spiral math program so we dont feel we are constantly reteaching. My daughter was scared at first but after getting to see the books first hand now, she is less apprehensive and ready to dig in.

    Great math curriculum

We switched to Horizons from Math U See and it’s working so much better for us. My first grader is enjoying the color pages and different activities than the repetition from MUS.

    Love the workbooks

Using this for my 2nd grader. She enjoys the colors and problems and is challenged by the work. This is the right level for her.
