The lab kit contains more than 50 items that will be harder to find to complete the experiments. You will still need to gather a few things from around the house, like a few standard office supplies, kitchen items, etc. You may also have to buy food items, but trust us, this is a good thing. You do not want a kit shipped to your house full of fresh fruits, vegetables, and cheese that has been sitting on a warehouse shelf. 

However, for the things you would have to pick up at the craft store, hobby store, and/or superstore, this handy kit has virtually all of them in just the quantities you'll need to complete your experiments. This kit also does not include a handful of optional items that you won't find in your home, so you'll need to pick those up if you choose to conduct those experiments or parts of experiments.
