    This ones really fun

    This game is really fun. My toddler is very into princesses right now. This game we play 10-12 challenges per one sitting. I have to ask if we can do move onto something else because they never want to stop playing this one.

    3 and 8 year old girls loved it - I love it too!

    This is a nicely made game. I like that most of the pieces are wooden. The castle pieces are not painted on all sides. Pieces that sit on the bottom have little nobs on them to sit inside of the base, im not really sure of the purpose for those (maybe so pieces don't fall over as easy?) All the pieces felt smooth and it doesn't seem like I will have to worry about them splintering.

    My 8 year old daughter could place this easily on her own, but as she moved through the challenges they definitely got tricky.

    My 3 year old could play it if I sat with her and told her what pieces she could use. She could set it up based on the main picture but didn't really understand that you don't use all the pieces in each challenge.

    Definitely would recommend, even for a child in K-2.

    More Complex than it Looks

    I bought this for my four year old, but my 7 year old is actually more interested in doing the challenges. He enjoys helping his little sister figure out how to get the princess and prince together.
    A bonus for us is that we are studying medieval history this year and they are playacting King Arthur stories with the set. 😃
    The only drawback I have found is that there aren’t a few more simple challenges since this is marketed for younger children.

    It sounds like your children are having a lot of fun with this game! But if your younger child continues to struggle to understand the challenges, we suggest having her work through the book first as a puzzle book and then go through it as a critical thinking game. To do this, have her use each challenge's answer as her puzzle to recreate; this will help her go from 2D to 3D and give her many ideas of different solutions to build functional structures. Then, have her restart the book as a critical thinking task, using the challenge to guide her.

    Great for younger kids!

    I purchased this game for my 4 year old, but my 2 year old and 6 year old really enjoy it as well! This is a great thinking game for young learners. The challenges are well thought out.

    great logic work

    Our little guy loves this work so much. We always put it out so he's able to pay with the pieces first, and then we do the challenge. It's great that the princess also gets to save the prince :)
