2024 Preschool Handbook + Scheduler

I love the online scheduler so much! The book helps me to understand the scope of each work and I keep this handy throughout the year. We also love incorporating the Obsessed reader thought out the year.

Coming from a teaching background I enjoyed the books lists at the back of the handbook. But other than that I haven't used it. I tried the scheduler and struggled to use it, partially because we don't follow a typical school week. But for a new to homeschool parent the handbook and scheduler would take so much pressure and guess work out of the planning and understanding of the curriculum.

I loooove having the ability to schedule things! I was skeptical as I do not like many schedulers, but this one is awesome! You can add all of the items (or options) that come with the kit, as well as manually add other school items. The weekly and daily options are great for flexibility. I do prefer the weekly one however. The one feature I am missing is the option to make changes to the schedule as you go through the year without entering where you are at. (i.e. assume you are on schedule at 4 weeks in). but overall it is great!

I never intended on starting school with my son until he was six at the earliest. When he started to show an aptitude for numbers and letters at three, I didn’t want that love of learning to disappear if I didn’t nurture it. However, I was completely overwhelmed by the massive amount of choices available for every subject. What kind of learner is my child? What is my teaching style? So many choices and with no degree in education, I felt overwhelmed and unfit. Then I found Timberdoodle and this handbook was just the handholding that I needed. There’s so much great information inside and the tips on using each item are invaluable. Things the instructions for the item don’t even include are included in the handbook. I also enjoy the book lists as well. I can’t recommend this item enough!
