1000-Piece Periodic Table Puzzle

Jigsaw puzzles develop your child’s abilities to reason, analyze, sequence, and deduce. Plus, when he does a puzzle, he is flexing his brain to retain information, so make it flex for something worth preserving!

The Periodic Table of the Elements 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle will engage your teen’s mind and strengthen his memory center. Typically most teens know a few of the elements on the table, but most of them are unfamiliar.

But with the Periodic Table of the Elements, he will learn the correct placement of the element on the table with its symbol, its atomic number, and where it can commonly occur. Having that little bit of additional information for each element makes this puzzle fun and educational.

”I think it is a well-manufactured puzzle. I think it will last through many adventures of putting it together and then taking it apart for the next time.”

A Fun Extra

Our family loves puzzles and my 4th grader loves learning about the periodic table. This was fun for our family to work on here and there and it showed the elements in a fun relatable way.

Great learning puzzle!

At 1000 pieces with many colors way too similar to others, this was not easy for my 15-year-old to complete the first time. It took her all day, watching movies and working on the puzzle, with occasional help from me and her brother. The second time will be easier, though, as she packed it away in small sections in ziploc bags.

We loved that the puzzle includes a cute illustration and a label for each element with the most common usage or source. It was fascinating! We all know that titanium is used in space exploration, but we had no idea plutonium is used in heart pacemakers or that boron is used in sports equipment! My daughter wanted to purchase puzzle glue and frame the finished puzzle right away, but I told her she will have to put it together at least a few more times as the Timberdoodle Handbook suggests. But when she is finally finished with it, we will frame it. The argument will be if it will be displayed in her room or in my school room!
