Little Match Combo

I have had this game for over a year and it has held up really well. While my child didn't really care to play the matching game, she really loved laying them all out and pointing out what each animal was or what color they were. The cards aren't regular card game material. They feel don't tear and water won't damage them. The stand is nice as well but hasn't gotten much use.

Our 2 year old was obsessed with this game! I think it really helped him to learn some animal names as well as colors. Our 5 & 7 year olds loved it all year too. We did it on the weekends and for fun times during home schooling. The card holder was helpful for the littlest as he can’t hold all the cards in his tiny hands.

I've written before my son struggles with card games but if I had to pick only one, this would be it. First of all, I am so THANKFUL this card game includes one card holder for helping a preschooler place and organize their cards. Good heavens it's a life saver as my son cannot manage cards to save his life.

Second, this game is just...fun. It's a simple little game but big brother, dad and the grandparents ask to play because it's just a relaxing and fun game. Plus it's wonderful for helping to introduce to toddlers and preschoolers the concept of waiting for and taking turns and being a good sport whether you win or lose.

It's a great tool for teaching about colors, counting, matching and categorization and organization.

Also, those animals on the cards are freaking adorable, and always adds extra points in my book. Keep this in the kit Timberdoodle!

This has been a fun little game! Easy to follow along for my kiddos

High quality set. I love the fact that the cards feel like they are made with plastic. The images and rules are also very easy to understand and follow. I only wish the curriculum kit had the option to get only the game and not the stand since it doesn't get used all that much (atleast at this time).
