2024 8th Grade Handbook + Scheduler

The scheduler is pretty good for helping you print a check list and to map out a plan. It does have its limits. If you customize your kit very much then you will find yourself having to enter in what you are using. (It’s not pre loaded) even if its curriculum Timberdoodle uses)
I was hoping it would do the math for me but it many cases I still have to figure out “how” to tell the schedule to divide it up. I think it’s mostly super valuable for new homeschoolers. However it’s certainly worth using if you have it. I would possibly buy again, however it isn’t life changing

First year trying Timberdoodle. I thought I had done my research thoroughly, but I must have misunderstood about the schedule book. I was thinking this was a nice weekly checklist (I was thinking something like Sonlight) that my kiddo could use, but it only includes a sample of a checklist. There is the online scheduler option included, which I am trying, but not a fan of so far and it’s not what I wanted to use. I am glad I can print off checklists at least instead of having to have my child log in. I was just hoping the work of making a checklist was already done for me. I’m a bit disappointed especially since it was not cheap.

I wasn’t expecting to use this resource when I purchased the 8th-grade curriculum kit, but I’ve really been enjoying it! It is such a handy little tool that is packed with useful information. I really enjoy the book challenge at the end as well. My 8th grader loves to read, so that will be a great way for him to keep track of all the books he’ll read this year.

This is our first year using Timberdoodle and I am loving these handbooks! The book lists/challenge and the information on each item is so valuable and helpful.
