We read this to our 3 kids throughout the year and really enjoyed it. Our 2 year old loved the pictures!

Must Have Resource

Highly recommend this creative writing poetry anthology. The whole book is excellently planned and beautifully bound. We finished it and my student wanted to start all over again. Even if you are not a homeschooler you will want this book to introduce your children to beautiful rhythm and rhyme.

Sing a song of boring

My kids show no appreciation for poetry, and this book was not helping. Some of the poems were fun, and all of the pages were beautifully illustrated. But some of the poems were well over their heads, and they struggled to really appreciate the art.

This book is stunning - the art and the poems. We read the poem of the day every school day and most non-school days the poem still gets read. It's a beloved part of our days. We will be reading this one for years, I am quite certain.
