My Year of Discovery
Explore the world of science and develop your child's creativity this year with My Year of Discovery, a combination drawing and writing journal. For a child, every day is an experiment; My Year of Discovery offers him a space to record his observations, ideas, and designs. There are 365 STEM-themed activities, one for every day of the year. Activities include completing a tessellating pattern, drawing snowflakes with rotational and reflectional symmetry, or adding cogs to a series that has been started, indicating in which direction each cog is rotating. Some activities will only take a minute, others much longer. Your child will not need extravagant materials to complete My Year of Discovery, just a pen, pencil, and a handful of colorful markers. Students can complete the activities in any order, and once they are done, they will have a one-of-a-kind record of their year of discovery.
